University of Szeged was awarded project number 110077-CP-1- 2003-1-HU-LINGUA-L2
under the European Union’s
SOCRATES Program. Within the framework of the program, between 2003 and 2007
we published a complex
Hungarian language teaching package, totalling a budget of EUR 172,100.

Magyarul – Coursebook I-II.
(Published in 2005)
These coursebooks
are mainly for beginner and intermediate students learning the Hungarian language
with the guidance of a teacher. Visual materials and grammar tables also help
learning, while several exercises offer opportunities for practice. There
is no intermediary language.
Audio CD I-II.
The audio
CDs contain the coursebook in audio version.
DVD I –II.
The DVDs
designed for beginner and intermediate students help in acquiring language
used in everyday conversations. They can be used as supplementary material
in classrooms as well as individual studies at home.
CD-ROM I-II.
The CD-ROMs,
created to be entertaining as well as educational, allow students to practice
essential vocabulary and grammatical structures at home.

magyarul – Grammatical Excercises for Advanced Students
The excersises
were designed for students who wish to systemize their knowledge. The book
includes an answer key to allow for individual language learning as well.

Practical Hungarian Grammar
(Published in Hungarian, English, Finnish, German and Italian)
Besides the
systemized description of the grammatical stuctures of the coursebooks, it
also meets the demands of students requiring more detailed knowledge. The
grammar book is useful for both teachers and students and will be published
in English, Italian, German and Finnish as well as Hungarian.
