A visit by Prof.Dr. Brigitte_Schnegg (Director of the Centre_for_Gender_Studies of the University of Bern) at 2 PM on Monday, October 17th 2011, to sign an Erasmus student and staff mobility contract, and to apply for a SCIEX (Scientific Exchange Programme NMS-CH in the field of gender studies).

 

 

The WEBPAGE of the 7th annual conference (NYIM7), entitled Relations of Gender After the System Change in 1989: Post-Socialism (?) and feminism (September 30 – October 1, 2011) is up and ready for browsing. The language of the conference is Hungarian.

 

NEW PUBLICATION: We are happy to give some publicity to Dr. Cari M. Carpenter's recent publication, Selected_Writings_of_Victoria_Woodhull. In May 2010, Cari visited us and taught a course in the staff mobility exchange program we have with the University of West Virginia. Her editorial comments and Introduction to the volume as well as the writings she selected from Woodhull's ouvre would make a great addition to women's studies classes on suffrage, the First Wave, women and politics, and women in American history.
